Among her many career highlights, this multi-talented native New Yorker and Hampton University (formerly Hampton Institute) alum has performed voice work in countless ads, commercials, promos, education videos, television spots and on the radio. Jan’s voice has been heard narrating for the Congressional Black Caucus Town Hall on BET with April Ryan, WHUR 96.3 FM in Washington, DC, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated., Eta Pi Chapter, Dr. Ernest Everett Just Mentoring Program promotional fundraising videos, MBN Broadcast Network Marketing Campaigns (a licensed Comcast vendor), Just A Cup of Coffee podcast, LiveMusic4You, eLifeMedia, and VoxWav internet-radio stations and the Center for the Arts and Media in Maryland to name a few. Additionally, Jan has been a featured speaker for the 2022 Black Business Expo USA helping participants understand the power of their voice in business. She is also featured on-screen in television commercials as a previous client spokesperson for a law firm in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. And yes…she really is a client of the law firm.

The enthusiasm she generates in her listening audiences has resulted in her being invited to be the Emcee/Mistress of Ceremonies and Host on the Main Demonstration Stage for the annual NBC4-Washington DC Health and Fitness Expo for 18 years! Since 2012, she has also enjoyed serving as the Emcee/Host on the Plaza Stage for the annual NBC4-New York/Telemundo 47 Health and Fitness Expo at MetLife Stadium.

At the NBC4-Washington Health and Fitness Expo, Jan has interviewed celebrities and personalities on the main stage such as Hoda Kotb, Real Housewives of Atlanta, Porsha Williams, Biggest Loser contestants and winners as well as select NBC4-Washington anchors/reporters. During her 18 years hosting the Health and Fitness Expo she was also invited to be the Mistress of Ceremonies and Host for NBC4-Washington at the National Council of Negro Women’s Annual’s Black Family Reunion Celebration. Not only did she energize crowds of over 60,000 at NBC4-Washington events but she has entertained and delighted audiences performing as the Mistress of Ceremonies at fundraising events for Pepco
(Potomac Electric Power Company), EduSerc (Educators Serving the Community Youth Development), VoxWav internet-radio community events, Serengeti Gallery, ArtRageous Performing Arts programs and for churches in the Washington, DC/Baltimore area for many, many years.
Jan is known for her bubbly personality, great sense of humor, being a down to earth person, a person who loves the Lord, humble and someone who truly enjoys making people smile.
